Our main program meetings, twice a month — 2nd Tuesday and 3rd Saturday.

Hybrid (in-person and Zoom), so you can attend either way. Social hour starts at 7:00 pm, announcements and the program begin at 8:00 pm. Programs vary monthly and often feature a guest speaker on a topic relevant to our community. Afterward, Zoom attendees keep chatting online while in-person members often head out for a drink. Safety is a priority: our venues are safe spaces, and restrooms are available for dressing on-site if needed.

• 2nd Tuesday — Arlington Ale House, 111 W. Campbell St., Unit 3, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Ample free parking on neighboring streets and in the parking ramp.

• 3rd Saturday — K2N Crest, 1010 Jorie Blvd, Suite 320, Oak Brook, IL. Parking in the rear; enter by the parking lot and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Large meeting room with a big screen for Zoom attendees.ription text goes here

Casual social dinners, three times a month — 2nd Saturday, 4th Tuesday, and last Saturday.

Dinner, drinks, conversation, and camaraderie. The only cost is what you order (plus occasional cover/minimum — see below). Starts around 7:00 pm.

• 2nd Saturday — 1909 Lounge at the DoubleTree Hotel, Oakbrook.

• 4th Tuesday — Highway House, Chicago. Ample street parking; a friendly, safe space.

• Last Saturday — Rotating restaurants and bars across the Chicago suburbs. Sometimes includes an activity like dancing to a live band. Depending on the venue, there may be a cover charge or food & drink minimum — check Upcoming Events for details.

Starts with introductions, then open conversation — often with a suggested topic in advance, though discussion ranges widely. 7:30 pm Central (8:30 Eastern, 6:30 Mountain, 5:30 Pacific).

Our signature "prom you didn't get to attend" — once or twice a year.

A full sit-down meal, cash bar, and a dance floor with a DJ or live band, usually held at the Embassy Suites in Lombard in summer and/or winter. Check Upcoming Events for the next date.

CGSA participates in Pride Month parades, including the Chicago Pride Parade and the Buffalo Grove Pride Parade. Walking (or riding the float!) with us is an unforgettable experience — all are encouraged to join.
